Accountant needed in Kuwait (Urgent Required)

We are a growing logistics and supply chain company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting import, export, transportation, and distribution operations.

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial activities, maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company procedures. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with operations, finance, and management teams to support efficient business performance.

• Record daily accounting transactions and journal entries
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Ensure accuracy of financial records and documentation
• Perform bank and account reconciliations

• Prepare customer invoices and billing documents
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
• Process supplier invoices and accounts payable transactions
• Manage credit control activities and payment schedules

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
• Prepare financial reports and management summaries
• Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and cost tracking
• Provide financial analysis and operational insights

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls

 Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

 Strong knowledge of:

• General Ledger Management
• Journal Entries
• Financial Reporting
• Bank Reconciliations
• Accounts Payable & Receivable

 Experience with:

• Invoicing
• Billing
• Credit Control
• Financial Analysis

 Proficiency in:

• Accounting Software / ERP Systems
• Microsoft Excel
• Financial Reporting Tools

 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

 Good communication and teamwork skills

 Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• CPA
• ACCA
• CMA
• Equivalent qualifications

 Previous experience in:

• Logistics
• Transportation
• Freight Forwarding
• Supply Chain Operations

(Preferred but not mandatory)
