A traditional Arabic specialty restaurant known for authentic culinary recipes in Al Qurain, Kuwait is recruiting dedicated Kitchen Commis & Food Preparation Helpers.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist chef with daily mise-en-place, washing, peeling, and cutting bulk vegetables, herbs, and aromatics.
• Portion and marinate meats, prepare rice garnishes, and maintain kitchen stock bins during service hours.
• Operate commercial rice cookers, boiling kettles, and kitchen utensils safely under chef supervision.
• Keep kitchen prep tables, chopping blocks, and refrigeration units clean and sanitized.
• Assist with kitchen wash-up, dishwashing, pot scrubbing, and waste bin disposal per health codes.
• Support receiving stewards with unloading morning fresh meat and vegetable deliveries.

Requirements

• Prior commercial kitchen helper experience in Arabic, Oriental, or Indian dining concepts.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, mise-en-place, and kitchen safety practices.
• Physically energetic, reliable, and capable of working in fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Valid Kuwait transferable visa (Article 18) with immediate joining availability.
