Hiring Automotive Procurement Officer in Kuwait

A leading automotive general trading and spare parts distribution enterprise in Shuwaikh, Kuwait, is hiring a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage international purchasing and supplier relations.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing operations for automotive spare parts, tires, and workshop consumables.
• Source global and local auto parts manufacturers, request commercial quotes, and evaluate proposals.
• Prepare formal purchase orders (POs), contract terms, and verify international shipping schedules.
• Analyze purchasing data, historical consumption, and inventory minimum stock levels in Microsoft Excel.
• Liaise with customs clearance agents and logistics freight forwarders for timely warehouse receipt.

Requirements

• 2+ years of procurement or supply chain experience within the automotive or auto spare parts sector.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS).
• Strong commercial negotiation, vendor assessment, and cost-saving analytical abilities.
• Valid Article 18 transferable visa in Kuwait.
