Hiring Industrial Gas Cutter & Pipe Fabricator in Kuwait

A leading industrial fabrication and mechanical contracting company in Mina Abdullah, Ahmadi, Kuwait, is hiring an experienced Gas Cutter for a long-term pipe cutting and metal fabrication project.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform manual and mechanized oxy-acetylene / oxy-fuel gas cutting on 3.5-inch steel pipes and structural steel plates.
• Inspect and calibrate gas regulator pressures, torch nozzles, flashback arrestors, and oxygen cylinders.
• Execute clean bevels, straight cuts, and pipe edge preps conforming to engineering tolerances.
• Adhere strictly to workshop hot-work permits, personal protective equipment (PPE), and industrial fire safety rules.
• Inspect cut metal edges, remove dross/slag with grinding tools, and stage materials for welding crews.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years proven hands-on experience in industrial gas cutting, pipe beveling, and metal fabrication.
• High safety awareness and proficiency with oxy-acetylene torch equipment.
• Physically fit to work 12-hour project shifts (transportation provided from Fahaheel and Mangaf).
• Valid transferable Kuwait residency.
