Job Vacancy: QC Engineer, Draftsman & Safety Officer

A reputed construction company in Kuwait is urgently looking for qualified and experienced candidates for the Mechanical & Piping section.

Candidates with relevant construction, mechanical, piping, quality control, drafting, or safety experience are encouraged to apply.

• Monitor quality control activities for mechanical and piping works.
• Inspect materials, installations, and completed work according to project requirements.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection records and reports.
• Coordinate inspections with project and site teams.
• Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation of inspection and testing activities.
• Support the project team in maintaining required quality standards.

• Experience in construction, mechanical, or piping projects.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection practices.
• Ability to read technical drawings and project specifications.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Prepare and revise technical drawings for mechanical and piping works.
• Develop shop drawings and construction drawings according to project requirements.
• Make drawing revisions based on site conditions and engineering instructions.
• Coordinate drawings with engineers, supervisors, and site teams.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and properly documented.
• Maintain updated drawing records and revisions.

• Experience in mechanical and piping drafting.
• Good knowledge of technical and construction drawings.
• AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail.

• Monitor health and safety practices at construction and project sites.
• Ensure workers follow company and site safety procedures.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective measures.
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks when required.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Promote safe working practices among employees and subcontractors.
• Support compliance with project safety requirements.

• Experience in construction, mechanical, or piping projects.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and observation skills.
• Ability to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Relevant safety certification is an advantage.

• Relevant experience in the applied position is preferred.
• Construction or Mechanical & Piping experience is an advantage.
• Candidates must be currently residing in Kuwait.
• Valid Article 18 residency is required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, hardworking, and professional attitude.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
