AV & Low Voltage Technician Required in Kuwait
A company in Sharq, Kuwait is looking for a skilled and motivated Audio Visual & Low Voltage Technician to join its technical team.
The ideal candidate should have practical, hands-on experience in AV system installation, low-voltage cabling, equipment testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Experience with smart home automation, digital signage, CCTV, and networking systems will be an advantage.
Job Responsibilities- Install, configure, test, and commission Audio Visual (AV) systems.
- Install and configure displays, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, and other AV equipment.
- Set up and troubleshoot video conferencing systems.
- Install, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling.
- Assist with the installation of low-voltage equipment and technology systems.
- Support installation and maintenance of smart home automation systems.
- Assist with digital signage installation and configuration.
- Support CCTV and security system installations.
- Assist with basic networking and technology-related installations.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting to identify technical faults.
- Carry out routine maintenance and corrective repairs when required.
- Read and understand basic wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and installation layouts.
- Use installation tools and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure installations are completed according to project requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Coordinate with other technicians and project team members when required.
- Hands-on experience in Audio Visual and Low Voltage system installation.
- Practical knowledge of AV equipment, cabling, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with displays, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, and video conferencing systems.
- Knowledge of low-voltage cabling and termination.
- Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
- Experience with installation tools and testing equipment.
- Exposure to CCTV, networking, smart home automation, or digital signage is an advantage.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Professional, disciplined, and responsible attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a technical team.
- Valid Kuwait residency / transferable visa is preferred.
- Valid Kuwait driving license is an advantage.
