Hiring Certified TIG & Arc Welder in Kuwait
A premier oil & gas contracting company in Kuwait is urgently seeking 5 qualified, certified, and competent Certified TIG & Arc Welders to support KOC upstream project operations in Fahaheel, Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute root pass TIG welding and capping Arc welding on oilfield flowlines, manifolds, and piping skids.
- Perform welding in 6G fixed positions on high-pressure carbon steel and stainless steel process piping.
- Pass client welding qualification trade tests (WQT) conducted under KOC technical oversight.
- Inspect weld prep bevels, root openings, and tack welds to ensure flawless joint alignment before welding.
- Adhere strictly to client safety protocols, gas testing clearance procedures, and hot work permits.
- Maintain assigned welding equipment, high-frequency TIG torches, and gas shielding apparatus in peak condition.
- Record daily welding production logs and ensure seamless handover during multi-shift operations.
Requirements
- 3-5 Years of verified industrial welding experience on oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical projects in the GCC.
- Previous qualification or experience working on KOC or KNPC projects is highly preferred.
- Candidate must successfully pass mandatory practical trade test before mobilization.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
- Strong physical stamina, safety consciousness, and technical focus.
- Immediate availability to attend trade tests and join.
