Hiring Central AC & Chiller Technician in Kuwait
A premier refrigeration, cooling systems, and engineering manufacturer (Alhasawi Group) in Kuwait is urgently seeking a highly experienced, diagnostic, and competent Central AC & Chiller Technician to join its field maintenance division in Salmiya, Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and overhauls on commercial central AC systems and rooftop package units.
- Troubleshoot water-cooled and air-cooled chillers, DX air handling units (AHUs), and fan coil units (FCUs).
- Diagnose hermetic and semi-hermetic compressor failures, electrical motor windings, and refrigerant leaks.
- Recover, vacuum, dehydrate, and recharge R-134a, R-410A, and R-407C refrigerants safely according to environmental guidelines.
- Inspect, clean, and chemical-wash chilled water coils, condenser tubes, and air filter media.
- Calibrate electronic thermostats, motorized damper actuators, and digital DDC control valves.
- Respond swiftly to emergency cooling breakdown calls across commercial towers, clinics, and residential complexes.
Requirements
- 3-7 Years of verified field experience servicing commercial central air conditioning systems in Kuwait or GCC.
- Sound working knowledge of industrial chillers, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, and electrical control panels.
- Currently available in Kuwait with mandatory transferable visa (Article 18 Ahli).
