Hiring Financial Accountant in Kuwait

A well-reputed commercial trading and business group in Kuwait City, Kuwait is recruiting a qualified, analytical Financial Accountant.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage complete general ledger operations, preparing monthly financial journals and account balances.
• Prepare detailed balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow forecasts for management review.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements, supplier accounts, and corporate credit transactions accurately.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable reconciliations, ensuring timely customer billing collections.
• Maintain asset depreciation schedules and assist during annual external statutory audit reviews.
• Ensure adherence to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and Kuwait financial guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Commerce from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience in corporate trading or commercial contracting.
• Egyptian nationality is specifically required for this corporate accounting post.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with advanced proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Valid Kuwait transferable residency (Article 18).
