Hiring Financial Accountant in Kuwait
A reputable commercial contracting and trading company in Kuwait is urgently seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and competent Financial Accountant to join its finance department in Fahaheel, Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions, general ledger entries, and monthly closing reconciliations.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring accurate vendor and client settlements.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Perform bank reconciliations, petty cash management, and supplier invoice verification.
- Ensure full compliance with corporate financial policies and Kuwait financial accounting standards.
- Prepare financial audit schedules and provide required documentation for annual external audits.
- Track customer credit limits, monitor overdue balances, and prepare aged receivables reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive commercial accounting experience in Kuwait or GCC.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting ERP systems.
- Strong analytical mindset, numeric accuracy, and ability to meet strict monthly deadlines.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
- Immediate availability to commence employment is preferred.
