Hiring Food Factory Maintenance Engineer in Kuwait
A fast-growing food and meat processing manufacturing enterprise in Kuwait City is hiring an accomplished Maintenance Engineer with deep expertise in automated industrial machinery and food safety standards.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead cross-system electro-mechanical troubleshooting for meat processing equipment including vacuum tumblers, industrial mixers, grinders, flakers, bowl cutters, and filling lines.
- Implement and optimize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for preventive and predictive maintenance routines.
- Ensure all maintenance activities strictly comply with HACCP food safety standards and Kuwait industrial regulations.
- Diagnose PLC control systems, automated sensors, pneumatics, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Manage spare parts inventory, technical vendor relationships, and machine overhaul projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in automated food processing or packaging plants.
- Demonstrated proficiency in CMMS, HACCP compliance, and PLC automation troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving capability and transferable Kuwait residency.
