Role Summary
An established asphalt and concrete plant in Sulaibiya is hiring an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, ensure equipment reliability, and maintain safety and quality standards. Full‑time position; immediate joiners preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise plant maintenance activities and lead the maintenance team.
• Ensure machinery efficiency by overseeing inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Plan and execute breakdown repairs and coordinate with vendors for spare parts and services.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and monitor equipment performance metrics.
• Enforce safety and quality standards during maintenance and operations.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safe work procedures.
• Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports on downtime, repairs, and spare parts usage.
• Coordinate with operations and production to minimize downtime and optimize plant availability.
Requirements
• Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in plant maintenance, preferably with asphalt or concrete plant machinery.
• Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of crushers, mixers, conveyors, boilers, pumps, and other plant equipment.
• Skills: Leadership, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance planning, and vendor coordination.
• Attributes: Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
• Availability: Ready to join immediately.
