Position: Instrumental Music Teacher

Role Summary

Teach instrumental music to students across different age groups, deliver engaging individual and group lessons, prepare students for performances and examinations, and contribute to the school’s music program and events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons for individual and group instrumental classes.

• Plan and prepare age‑appropriate lesson plans and learning materials.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

• Prepare students for concerts, assemblies, and external exams.

• Collaborate with other teachers for cross‑curricular activities and school events.

• Maintain instruments and manage practice schedules and inventories.

Requirements

• Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Music.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years teaching experience; school teaching experience preferred.

• Skills: Strong classroom management, good communication, patience, creativity, and ability to teach different age groups.

• Teaching ability: Capable of conducting both group and one‑to‑one lessons.

• Language: Proficiency in English; additional languages an advantage.

• Availability: Able to work within the school timetable and attend rehearsals and events.
