Internal Auditor – Finance Jobs in Kuwait

A company in Ardhiya, Kuwait is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Internal Auditor – Finance to join its finance and audit team.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, financial auditing, internal controls, risk management, and ERP systems, along with the ability to identify financial risks and recommend practical improvements.

• Conduct financial and operational audits according to company policies and procedures.
• Review financial records, transactions, invoices, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify weaknesses or areas of potential risk.
• Verify compliance with accounting policies and internal procedures.
• Identify financial and operational risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare clear and accurate internal audit reports.
• Follow up on previous audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Review business processes and suggest ways to improve efficiency and control.
• Support risk management and compliance activities.
• Assist with external audits and provide required financial documentation.
• Maintain proper audit records and working papers.
• Work closely with finance and management teams to resolve identified issues.
• Ensure financial processes support accurate and reliable reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal auditing or as a Senior Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of internal controls and auditing standards.
• Experience identifying financial risks and control weaknesses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is required/preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong report-writing and documentation abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and professional integrity.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential financial information.
