We are seeking a visionary Chief Technical Officer (CTO) with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, large‑scale streaming platforms, and high‑performance system design. The ideal candidate will lead technology strategy, build resilient cloud architectures, and scale platforms to support high traffic and global users.
Role Overview
Lead the company’s technology direction, design and operate scalable cloud systems, and oversee engineering teams to deliver secure, high‑availability streaming and platform services.
Key Responsibilities
• Technology Strategy: Define and execute the company’s technical roadmap and innovation priorities.
• Cloud Architecture: Design, deploy, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or equivalent cloud providers.
• Platform Engineering: Build and operate high‑traffic streaming platforms and large‑scale distributed systems.
• DevOps and Automation: Implement CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Security and Reliability: Ensure platform security, observability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and grow engineering teams; set engineering standards and best practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with product, operations, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
• Proven leadership: Senior technical leadership experience, preferably as CTO, Head of Engineering, or Senior Architect.
• Cloud expertise: Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, RDS/DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Distributed systems: Deep knowledge of microservices, event‑driven architectures, and scalable data pipelines.
• Streaming platforms: Experience designing or operating large‑scale streaming/video platforms or content delivery systems.
• DevOps skills: Expertise in CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), containerization, orchestration, and automation.
• Performance at scale: Proven track record building systems that handle high concurrency and low latency.
• Security and compliance: Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and operational compliance.
• Communication: Excellent strategic thinking and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Experience
• Experience with technologies and patterns used by large streaming platforms (e.g., CDN integration, adaptive bitrate streaming, media transcoding pipelines).
• Background in high‑availability architectures, caching strategies, and global load balancing.
• Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and performance tuning.
• Prior experience scaling engineering teams and driving cross‑functional delivery.
