Role Summary
A leading supplier to the oil and gas sector in Kuwait is hiring Sales Engineer and Senior Sales Engineer to drive business development for valves, pumps, compressors, and process equipment across KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, MEW, and EPC contractors.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
• Manage client relationships with KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, MEW, and local/international EPCs.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and commercial offers aligned with client specifications.
• Provide product technical support and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and after‑sales teams.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring margin and compliance targets.
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and technical presentations as required.
• Mentor junior sales staff (Senior Sales Engineer role).
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree: Mechanical Engineering graduate.
• Experience: 5–10 years oil and gas sales experience in Kuwait is mandatory.
• Product Knowledge: Proven experience with valves, pumps, compressors, and process equipment.
• Network: Established professional contacts with KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, MEW, and EPC contractors.
• Skills: Strong communication, technical selling, and negotiation skills.
• Driver Requirements: Valid Kuwait driving license.
• Visa: Transferable Article 18 visa.
• Location: Candidates must be currently in Kuwait.
Senior vs Mid Level Expectations
• Sales Engineer: Focus on territory management, client support, and meeting sales targets.
• Senior Sales Engineer: Lead strategic accounts, larger tenders, complex negotiations, and mentor the sales team.
Compensation and Benefits
