Hiring Junior Electrical Technician in Kuwait
A reputable electromechanical maintenance and technical contracting company in Kuwait is urgently seeking qualified, diligent, and competent Junior Electrical Technicians to join its facilities team in Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out routine electrical maintenance, cable jointing, conduit pulling, and circuit testing across commercial sites.
- Install distribution boards (DBs), circuit breakers, industrial switches, light fixtures, and power sockets.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, voltage fluctuations, short circuits, and power outages using multimeters.
- Perform cable terminations, cable tray installations, and electrical wiring according to engineering diagrams.
- Assist senior electrical supervisors during periodic preventive maintenance audits of building facilities.
- Adhere strictly to electrical safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and personal protective equipment standards.
- Maintain accurate job records of completed site work, installed components, and consumed electrical supplies.
Requirements
- ITI Certificate or Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Electrical Installation.
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience as an electrician or junior electrical technician in the GCC or Kuwait.
- Must be currently available in Kuwait with transferable residency (Iqama Article 18).
- Capable of speaking and writing English clearly for technical reporting.
- Candidates must be ready to join within one week (candidates with long notice periods should not apply).
- Strong electrical safety discipline and collaborative team spirit.
