Hiring Lead System Analyst - Instrumentation Engineer in Kuwait
A tier-one oil & gas engineering contractor in Ahmadi, Kuwait, is urgently recruiting a Lead System Analyst (Instrument Engineer) for an ongoing long-term Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) maintenance project.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical engineering analysis, maintenance, and troubleshooting for DCS, ESD, PLC, and field instrumentation systems.
- Analyze telecommunication, telemetry, and SCADA interface systems across KOC oilfield production facilities.
- Perform calibration, functional loop checks, and logic testing on safety shut-down valves and process transmitters.
- Prepare detailed engineering maintenance reports, root cause analyses, and equipment reliability documentation.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with KOC technical standards, HSE regulations, and PTW (Permit to Work) procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.) in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Telecommunications Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of verified experience in oil & gas DCS / ESD systems and instrumentation.
- Valid KOC Gate Pass clearance or immediate eligibility for KOC project mobilization.
- Transferable Kuwait residency (Article 18); available for immediate joining.
