Hiring Project HSE Safety Officer in Kuwait
An international engineering contractor working on Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) infrastructure developments is hiring an experienced Project Safety Officer to enforce stringent site health, safety, and environmental standards.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site HSE walkthroughs, hazard identifications, and permit-to-work audits.
- Deliver safety toolbox talks to multinational construction crews prior to high-risk activities.
- Inspect scaffolding, cranes, rigging equipment, and personal protective gear (PPE).
- Investigate near-misses or site incidents, prepare root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with client HSE guidelines and Kuwait environmental legislation.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of HSE safety experience on oil & gas or mega industrial projects.
- Recognized international safety credentials (NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or IOSH).
- Strong command of English technical documentation and site reporting.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa.
