Role Summary

Experienced technician required to install, service, and repair overhead sectional and commercial doors. Candidate must have both mechanical and electrical skills and be able to work independently on site to ensure doors operate safely and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Assemble and install overhead sectional doors, tracks, springs, and operators.

• Maintenance and repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults; repair or replace motors, sensors, control panels, springs, rollers, and seals.

• Testing and commissioning: Test door balance, safety devices, and automatic controls; commission door systems after repair or installation.

• Preventive maintenance: Carry out routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to prevent failures.

• Documentation: Log work performed, parts used, and recommendations for replacements or upgrades.

• Safety compliance: Follow site HSE procedures and use appropriate PPE.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience with overhead sectional or commercial doors.

• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Tools: Own basic hand tools preferred.

• Availability: Ready to join immediately preferred.

• Attitude: Reliable, safety conscious, and able to work on ladders and at heights.
