Position: Planning Engineer

Role Summary

Experienced Planning Engineer needed to support ongoing construction projects. The role can be permanent (on‑site) or remote, and focuses on project scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination across civil, mechanical, and general construction works using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

• Prepare baseline and updated schedules, resource histograms, and look‑ahead plans.

• Monitor project progress and produce timely progress reports and recovery plans.

• Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and mitigation measures.

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to collect progress data and update schedules.

• Prepare earned value reports, progress curves, and KPI dashboards.

• Support project planning activities including manpower and material levelling, and change‑order impact assessments.

• Review and validate contractor schedules and ensure compliance with contractual milestones.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years (or specify) in construction planning for civil, mechanical, or general construction projects.

• Software: Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project (one must be advanced).

• Technical skills: Schedule development, CPM analysis, resource and cost loading, progress measurement, and reporting.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

• Communication: Good English communication skills for reporting and stakeholder coordination.

• Attributes: Analytical, detail oriented, able to work under deadlines, and comfortable with both on‑site and remote collaboration.

• Availability: Immediate or with notice period as specified by candidate.
