Pre-Sales Electrical Engineer (Sales Support) Job in Kuwait

A leading trading and engineering company in Kuwait is seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Pre-Sales Electrical Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in technical evaluation, estimation, and sales support within the electrical sector.

The Pre-Sales Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in reviewing tender documents, preparing technical proposals, and supporting the sales team through accurate analysis and effective client coordination.

• Thoroughly review and analyze tender documents, project drawings, and technical specifications
• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project requirements
• Identify and report any technical gaps, risks, or missing information during tender evaluation
• Coordinate with international manufacturers to verify:
  • Technical specifications
  • Product capacities
  • Lead times
• Prepare:
  • Technical submittals
  • Compliance statements
  • Detailed technical proposals
• Support the sales team during:
  • Client meetings
  • Technical clarification sessions
• Ensure all submissions meet technical standards and project deadlines

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in:
  • Pre-sales
  • Technical estimation
  • System integration
    (Preferably in electrical trading or contracting sectors in the GCC)
• Strong ability to read and interpret:
  • Electrical single line diagrams
  • Schematic drawings
  • Project specifications
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with international suppliers and stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Currently residing in Kuwait with Transferable Visa (Article 18)
