Hiring Purchasing & Operations Assistant in Kuwait
A reputable commercial trading and technical supply firm in Kuwait is urgently seeking a qualified, diligent, and competent Purchasing & Operations Assistant to join its team in Shuwaikh Industrial, Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the procurement department with sourcing building, mechanical, and electrical materials and obtaining competitive supplier quotations.
- Visit local industrial markets, trading houses, and regional suppliers across Shuwaikh to inspect and collect purchase orders.
- Verify quantities, model numbers, product specifications, and general physical condition of all received goods against purchase orders.
- Coordinate material pickups, inter-site deliveries, and logistics handovers using company vehicles.
- Maintain comprehensive purchase records, collection vouchers, supplier invoices, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate clearly with the operations office regarding material availability, price variations, and delivery schedules.
- Support ad-hoc site deliveries, urgent material sourcing runs, and inventory handover acknowledgements.
Requirements
- 2-5 Years of verified hands-on experience in purchasing, materials coordination, or technical procurement support.
- Familiarity with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, building materials, tools, or industrial hardware products.
- Valid Kuwait Motor Vehicle Driving License IS STRICTLY MANDATORY.
- Good spoken and written English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email communications, and digital messaging applications.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
- Immediate availability to commence employment is highly preferred.

- Salary: KWD 350–400 per month based on procurement and field operations experience.
