Hiring Retail Store Helper & Tailoring Assistant in Kuwait
A bespoke tailoring and textile retail establishment in Mahboula, Kuwait, is recruiting a hardworking Store Helper Cum Tailor to assist with garment alterations, fabric cutting, and shop organization.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform basic garment stitching, alterations, hemming, button fixing, and seam repairs on sewing machines.
- Assist master cutters with measuring fabrics, preparing patterns, and pressing finished garments.
- Organize fabric rolls, label textile inventories, and keep store display counters neat and orderly.
- Package completed customer garments neatly and assist with customer pickups.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and ensure sewing machines and ironing equipment are well cared for.
Requirements
- Basic practical experience in garment stitching, tailoring, or textile shop support.
- Willingness to learn advanced sewing techniques and assist with all store activities.
- Hardworking, honest, and reliable work attitude.
- Transferable Kuwait residency; free accommodation provided.
