Hiring Rig Operations QHSE Safety Manager in Kuwait
A prominent oilfield drilling contracting enterprise in Ahmadi, Kuwait, is recruiting an experienced QHSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental stewardship across active rig operations.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish, audit, and enforce QHSE safety management systems across onshore drilling rig operations.
- Conduct comprehensive job safety analyses (JSA), hazard assessments, and risk mitigation reviews.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement preventive corrective action plans.
- Deliver rig site safety orientations, blowout prevention briefings, and emergency response drills.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) HSE guidelines and international drilling codes.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health & Safety.
- Minimum 5 years HSE leadership experience directly in onshore drilling rig operations.
- Recognized international safety credentials (NEBOSH IGC/Diploma, IOSH, or OSHA).
- Valid transferable Article 18 residency in Kuwait.
