Urgent Hiring: Certified Safety Officer for Asphalt Factory in Kuwait
A leading Asphalt Factory in Kuwait is urgently looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to oversee workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance. Immediate joiners with relevant certifications are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with Kuwait safety regulations and company safety standards.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee safety training.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Monitor the proper use of PPE and promote a strong safety culture.
- Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records, and safety reports.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and fire safety activities.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in safety management.
- Experience in an asphalt plant, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environment is preferred.
- One or more of the following certifications is mandatory:
- NEBOSH IGC
- OSHA
- IOSH
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
- Good communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
