Hiring Senior Finance Manager in Kuwait
A leading multinational B2B travel wholesale and hotel distribution group is urgently seeking a highly accomplished, strategic, and competent Senior Finance Manager to lead its financial operations in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end financial closes, delivering comprehensive management accounts within 7 working days.
- Prepare company balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and multi-currency cash flow forecasts in line with IFRS.
- Oversee supplier payables across global hotel chains, DMCs, and bed banks, managing virtual credit card (VCC) settlements.
- Manage client receivables, establish credit limits for travel agents and tour operators, and minimize DSO overdue exposure.
- Manage multi-currency bank accounts, evaluate foreign exchange (FX) risk exposure, and implement treasury hedging.
- Manage and optimize SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA systems, ensuring seamless integration with XML/API booking engines.
- Ensure full compliance with Kuwait and GCC corporate tax directives, regulatory reporting, and external audit governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance with 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- At least 5 years of specialized experience in B2B travel wholesale, hotel bed banks, DMCs, or airline distribution.
- Strong hands-on mastery of SAP (SAP FI/CO or S/4HANA) for accounting, reporting, and automated bank reconciliations.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS, GCC financial regulations, VCC payment processing, and multi-currency reconciliations.
- Professional qualification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA) is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership integrity and exceptional communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
