Hiring Senior Oil & Gas Process Engineer in Kuwait
A prominent international contracting and engineering conglomerate (Fouad Alghanim & Sons Group) in Kuwait is urgently seeking a highly accomplished, technical, and competent Senior Oil & Gas Process Engineer to lead design engineering in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead process design engineering activities for upstream oil & gas facilities, refinery units, and petrochemical plants.
- Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and Heat & Material Balances (H&MB).
- Conduct steady-state and dynamic process simulations using Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, or equivalent software tools.
- Size and specify process equipment including separators, distillation columns, heat exchangers, pumps, and relief valves.
- Participate actively in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), HAZOP, SIL, and design safety review workshops.
- Prepare comprehensive process calculation reports, equipment datasheets, and operating philosophies.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, and Civil) for project integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Petrochemical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of verified process design engineering experience in the oil & gas and petrochemical sector.
- Deep practical expertise in FEED and EPC phases of KOC, KNPC, or major GCC national oil company projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Aspen HYSYS simulation modeling and relief system sizing.
- Preferably Kuwait-based candidates available to mobilize on or before December 2026.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
