Job Vacancy: Senior Procurement & Tendering Officer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement & Tendering Officer to join our team in Kuwait.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in international procurement, government and Oil & Gas tendering, commercial costing, supplier management, shipping, and Kuwait customs procedures.

Candidates who have previously handled tenders for KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, KGOC, EQUATE, CAPT, or similar government and semi-government organizations will have a strong advantage.

• Manage international sourcing and develop reliable suppliers across Europe, Asia, USA, and GCC markets.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations, and negotiate prices and commercial terms.
• Negotiate payment terms, lead times, warranties, and contract conditions with suppliers.
• Prepare competitive commercial quotations and tender submissions.
• Handle tenders for KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, KGOC, EQUATE, CAPT, and other government or Oil & Gas entities.
• Prepare landed-cost calculations, pricing, profit margins, and bid comparison sheets.
• Coordinate bid bonds, performance bonds, vendor registrations, and pre-qualification requirements.
• Manage international shipments, Incoterms, freight arrangements, and customs clearance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, Finance, and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate supplier, procurement, and tender databases.
• Monitor tender results and follow up with clients and suppliers.
• Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
• Identify alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure all tender documents and commercial submissions are complete, accurate, and submitted before deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement, tendering, purchasing, or commercial roles.
• Experience with KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, KGOC, EQUATE, CAPT, or similar Kuwait government/Oil & Gas entities is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international sourcing and supplier management.
• Good understanding of Incoterms, LC/TT, shipping, freight, and Kuwait customs procedures.
• Strong negotiation, commercial costing, and pricing analysis skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar.
• Valid Kuwait Driving Licence is an advantage.
• Transferable Article 18 residency is an advantage.
• CIPS, CSCP, CPSM, or similar professional certification is preferred.
