Hiring TAB Electrical Commissioning Engineer in Kuwait

MTCP, a premier Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB) and MEP commissioning firm in Kuwait City, is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of specialized field experience to oversee system testing and balancing across major commercial facilities.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical testing, adjusting, and commissioning on commercial MEP installations, motor control centers (MCC), and switchgear.
• Review electrical schematics, control panel diagrams, HVAC BMS controls, and power monitoring systems.
• Operate advanced calibrated testing instruments including power analyzers, insulation megohmmeters, and thermal imagers.
• Compile comprehensive TAB technical reports, test certificates, and punch lists for submission to engineering consultants.
• Coordinate with main contractors, MEP consultants, and facility managers to ensure timely testing sign-offs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience, with specific background in a TAB or MEP commissioning company.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC electrical interlocks, VFDs, and building management systems (BMS).
• Transferable Kuwait residency; capable of preparing professional engineering documentation.
