Job Vacancy: 6G Welder (TIG & ARC) Required

A reputed company in Ahmadi, Kuwait is looking for experienced and skilled 6G Welders with strong expertise in TIG (GTAW) and ARC (SMAW) welding for fabrication works.

Candidates with pressure vessel, heat exchanger, and industrial welding experience are encouraged to apply.

• Perform welding in the 6G position (45° fixed pipe joint) using TIG (GTAW) and ARC (SMAW) processes.
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel materials according to approved WPS/PQR procedures.
• Read and understand isometric drawings, welding symbols, and technical blueprints.
• Prepare joints by cleaning, beveling, and proper alignment of workpieces.
• Perform root pass, hot pass, fill, and cap welding as per required standards.
• Maintain welding quality according to ASME, AWS, and company specifications.
• Maintain welding machines, tools, and consumables properly.
• Support QC inspections including visual inspection and NDT processes (RT/UT/MT/PT).
• Participate in welder qualification tests and certification activities.
• Follow all HSE requirements and safe working practices.

• Valid 6G Welder Qualification Certificate (ASME Section IX or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of welding experience in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, or industrial fabrication.
• Strong experience in TIG + ARC welding (GTAW + SMAW).
• Good knowledge of WPS/PQR procedures and filler material selection.
• Ability to produce high-quality welds under inspection.
• Knowledge of welding standards and NDT requirements.
• Good teamwork, communication skills, and safety awareness.

• Technical Diploma or ITI Certificate in Welding / Fabrication.
• ASME or AWS 6G Welder Certification preferred.
• Additional GTAW/SMAW/PWHT certifications will be an advantage.
