AC Technician DX and Central Cooling Jobs in Kuwait
Role Summary
A well‑established air‑conditioning company in Kuwait urgently requires a skilled AC Technician with hands‑on experience in DX (direct expansion) and central chilled water-cooling systems to join the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain DX and central chilled water AC systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on package units, split units, FCUs, AHUs, and chilled water systems.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults including compressors, motors, controls, and refrigerant circuits.
- Carry out system performance checks and report efficiency or safety issues to supervisors.
- Respond to breakdowns and service requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate service records and report parts or material needs.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years working with DX and central cooling systems; GCC experience preferred.
- Technical knowledge: Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of package units, split units, FCUs, AHUs, and chilled water systems.
- Skills: Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults; strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and controls.
- Safety: Good understanding of safety standards and safe work practices.
- Availability: Immediate or short‑notice joiners preferred.
- Documentation: Valid residency/visa and relevant trade certifications preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with chilled water plant operations, pumps, valves, and control systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC controls and basic PLC or BMS interfaces.
- Refrigeration handling certification and electrical troubleshooting skills.
