Role: Accountant (Costing background)

Role Overview

Lead accounting tasks for a manufacturing firm with emphasis on costing, financial reporting, payroll, and budget support. The role requires strong analytical skills, ERP proficiency, and the ability to work flexibly to meet month‑end and audit deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile sub‑ledgers to general ledger balances.

• Maintain fixed assets register and record asset transactions.

• Prepare and verify monthly payroll, leave salary, indemnity, overtime, commissions, and benefits.

• Manage banking, cash flow, and review financial statements.

• Support budget preparation and assist with annual audit work.

• Record journal entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses; prepare balance sheet and P&L analyses.

• Produce financial reports and ad hoc analyses; support other accounting staff as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

• Experience: 3–4 years in accounting, preferably with manufacturing/costing exposure.

• Technical: Proficient in financial ERP software and advanced Excel.

• Competencies: Strong analytical ability, solid knowledge of accounting principles, excellent written and verbal communication, professional presentation.

• Other: Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.
