Accountant Required in Shuwaikh, Kuwait
A General Store for Building Materials in Shuwaikh, Kuwait, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team.
The ideal candidate should have practical accounting experience and be proficient in the Odoo accounting system/ERP. Candidates with strong attention to detail and good communication skills in both English and Arabic are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities- Maintain accurate daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Record and organize invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents.
- Handle routine accounting activities using Odoo ERP.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Reconcile financial records and identify discrepancies when required.
- Prepare basic financial and accounting reports.
- Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation.
- Ensure accuracy when entering financial data into the accounting system.
- Coordinate with management regarding accounting and financial matters.
- Support day-to-day finance and administrative activities as required.
- Ensure financial records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience working in accounting.
- Strong practical knowledge of the Odoo accounting system / Odoo ERP.
- Good understanding of general accounting principles.
- Good command of spoken English and Arabic.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle financial information responsibly.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in a building materials or trading company is an advantage.
