Job Vacancy: Junior Accountant

A company in Kuwait City is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team.

The ideal candidate should have a background in accounting or finance, basic bookkeeping knowledge, and practical experience handling invoices, payments, receipts, reconciliations, and daily accounting records.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Experience handling invoices, payments, receipts, and financial records.
• Knowledge of bank and cash reconciliation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Previous Kuwait work experience is preferred.
• Valid Kuwait residency is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and support the accounting team.

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment records.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Organize financial documents and ensure proper record keeping.
• Assist with routine bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Support the Senior Accountant with daily finance tasks.
• Help ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.
