We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and audit support, with the ability to manage daily accounting operations efficiently and accurately.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting- Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers
- Process journal entries and account reconciliations
- Manage cash transactions and bank activities
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Ensure proper recording of payments and receipts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and analyze income statements and financial summaries
- Support the preparation and finalization of annual accounts
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Maintain proper supporting documentation and records
- Assist with annual financial audits
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation
- Support statutory and compliance-related requirements
Proven experience in accounting and financial operations
Strong knowledge of:
- Financial Accounting
- General Ledger Management
- Bank Reconciliation
- Financial Reporting
- Accounts Finalization
- Audit Support
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems
- Previous experience in Kuwait is an advantage
