Hiring Artisan Specialty Cafe Barista in Kuwait

A chic artisanal coffee lounge in Kuwait City is looking for an experienced, passionate Barista to craft premium espresso beverages, execute creative latte art, and deliver an outstanding coffee journey.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Dial in espresso recipes daily, evaluating grind size, dose, yield, and extraction timing for specialty roast profiles.
• Craft signature coffee concoctions including Chemex, V60 pour-overs, AeroPress, cortados, and iced cascara.
• Steam velvety micro-foam milk and present consistent, attractive latte art patterns on guest beverages.
• Educate guests on origin notes, tasting characteristics, and processing methods of single-origin coffee beans.
• Clean and backflush commercial espresso machinery, maintain water filtration, and sanitize the bar area.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years proven hands-on barista experience in artisanal coffee shops.
• Solid knowledge of espresso science, extraction variables, and manual brew methods.
• Friendly customer rapport, refined personal grooming, and English fluency.
• Currently resident in Kuwait with standard transferable residency (Article 18).
