Hiring Vegetable Section Commis in Kuwait

A high-capacity central production kitchen and commercial food catering facility operating in Hawally / West Abu Fatira, Kuwait is recruiting a dedicated Vegetable Section Commis.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive bulk deliveries of fresh fruits and vegetables, verifying quality, ripeness, and freshness standards.
• Wash, sanitize, peel, dice, julienne, and portion vegetables per standardized catering recipe specifications.
• Operate commercial vegetable cutting machines, spiral peelers, and vacuum packing equipment safely.
• Sort, date-label, and store prepared produce in designated walk-in chillers following FIFO rotation guidelines.
• Maintain immaculate sanitization across stainless steel prep sinks, cutting boards, and knife sets.
• Adhere strictly to commercial food hygiene standards, temperature control rules, and personal sanitation codes.

Requirements

• Hands-on commercial prep experience in restaurant kitchens, catering commissaries, or food production plants.
• Solid knowledge of vegetable handling, knife cutting techniques, and proper chiller storage.
• Hardworking, disciplined, and capable of working in fast-paced production team environments.
• Must currently reside inside Kuwait with valid transferable residency.
• Valid Kuwait Baladiya Food Handling Health Certificate.
