Hiring Industrial Argon Welder (TIG & MIG) in Kuwait

A prominent mechanical contracting and heavy metal fabrication workshop in Fahaheel, Kuwait is urgently hiring certified Argon Welders (TIG & MIG).

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute precision Argon TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy pipes.
• Weld pressure vessel seams, piping spools, and structural joints in 6G and 6GR positions.
• Select proper shielding gases (Argon / CO2), wire electrodes, tungsten tips, and amperages for joint thicknesses.
• Prepare pipe bevel edges, grinding, cleaning root gaps, and removing slag to achieve radiographic-quality welds.
• Conduct pre-heating and post-weld heat treatment checks following technical Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Follow strict industrial safety procedures, wearing certified auto-darkening welding helmets and leather aprons.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an Argon / TIG / MIG Welder in oil & gas or heavy engineering.
• Ability to pass standard radiographic (RT) and ultrasonic (UT) weld test inspections.
• Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa (Article 18).
• Immediate availability to undergo practical trade testing.
• Diligent, safety-conscious, and dedicated to high craftsmanship.
