Hiring Construction Project Document Controller in Kuwait
Recafco, a leading precast concrete and civil construction enterprise in Mina Abdullah Ahmadi, Kuwait, is recruiting an organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage technical engineering documentation and project filing systems.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer document control workflows including identification, numbering, version revision, indexing, and electronic distribution.
- Maintain comprehensive master document registers for engineering submittals, RFI logs, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Track project transmittals and follow up with consultant engineers to secure timely technical approvals.
- Coordinate document distribution across factory departments, site project teams, and client representatives.
- Manage both digital archives (EDMS) and hardcopy blueprint cabinets for quick audit retrieval.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Document Controller in construction, industrial fabrication, or engineering contracting.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital document archiving tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills, strict attention to detail, and methodical follow-up habits.
- Valid transferable Kuwait residency (Article 18); based in or accessible to Mina Abdullah / Ahmadi.
