Hiring General Accountant in Kuwait

A well-established commercial enterprise in Fahaheel, Kuwait, is looking for an experienced General Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable, and ledger reconciliations.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, journal vouchers, and accrual entries in accounting software.
• Process vendor bills, verify purchase orders, and execute supplier payment schedules.
• Monitor customer accounts receivable, generate billing invoices, and track aged debts.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger balances.
• Prepare preliminary trial balances and assist in monthly financial report preparations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or commercial trading firms.
• Hands-on proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, or enterprise ERP systems.
• Valid Kuwait residency with transferable Article 18 visa.
