We are Hiring Credit Control Officer | Kuwait

SMSA is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Control Officer to join its finance team in Kuwait.

This role is ideal for finance professionals with experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit control processes, customer account management, and ERP systems.

• Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
• Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and perform account reconciliations.
• Review customer credit limits and recommend adjustments when required.
• Coordinate with Sales and Finance departments to resolve billing and payment disputes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly aging reports and collection reports.
• Analyze customer payment behavior and outstanding balances.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

• Bachelor's Degree in:

  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Business Administration
  • Related Field

• 2–5 years of experience in:

  • Credit Control
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Collections
  • Finance Operations

• Experience handling customer collections and account reconciliation.

• Experience using ERP systems such as:

  • SAP
  • Oracle
  • Microsoft Dynamics
  • Similar ERP Solutions

• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and credit policies.

• Knowledge of credit risk assessment and customer account management.

• Ability to prepare and analyze aging reports and collection reports.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:

  • Pivot Tables
  • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
  • Reporting & Data Analysis

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.

• Fluency in Arabic with strong verbal and written communication skills.
