Hiring Financial Accountant in Kuwait

A reputable commercial trading and contracting enterprise in Kuwait City, Kuwait is recruiting a meticulous and qualified Financial & General Ledger Accountant.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts, record journal vouchers, and prepare daily accounts payable and receivable entries.
• Perform comprehensive monthly bank reconciliations, vendor balance settlements, and petty cash audits.
• Manage accounts payable workflows, verifying vendor invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Operate enterprise ERP accounting software, posting financial transactions and generating trial balances.
• Assist chief accountant with preparation of monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and tax reports.
• Ensure strict compliance with Kuwait corporate financial regulations and statutory accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of verified corporate accounting experience in Kuwait.
• Hands-on expertise in commercial ERP accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and deadline management capabilities.
• Valid Kuwait transferable residency (Article 18).
