Hiring Head Barista & Specialty Coffee Lead in Kuwait

A renowned specialty coffee concept situated in Kuwait City is recruiting an experienced and innovative Head Barista locally in Kuwait to lead cafe coffee operations and mentor the barista team.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day specialty coffee operations, recipe standardization, and espresso grinder calibrations.
• Train junior baristas on espresso extraction parameters, milk steaming textures, latte art, and brewing ratios.
• Manage cafe inventory for specialty coffee beans, syrups, organic dairy, and packaging supplies.
• Maintain and service commercial espresso machinery, water filtration systems, and grinders.
• Foster an inviting, upscale coffee lounge atmosphere with superior customer hospitality.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in specialty coffee, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of single-origin beans, roasting profiles, and manual brewing methods (V60, Chemex, Aeropress).
• Currently residing in Kuwait with valid Article 18 transferable residency; ready for immediate start.
• Strong leadership capabilities and genuine hospitality passion.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: 300 - 350 KD per month
