HSE Officer Vacancy in Kuwait
A company in Kuwait is looking for a dedicated and responsible HSE Officer to join its team. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in a similar HSE role and a strong understanding of workplace health, safety, and environmental practices.
Candidates with experience in telecom, oil & gas, or K-Companies are preferred.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and HSE audits.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Conduct HSE induction and safety training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Support the preparation and implementation of emergency response plans.
- Conduct emergency drills and ensure employees understand safety procedures.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and safety meetings.
- Participate in HSE meetings and provide safety performance updates.
- Monitor environmental practices, including waste disposal and pollution control.
- Prepare safety reports and maintain proper HSE documentation.
- Communicate effectively with employees, contractors, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the workplace.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar HSE/Safety Officer position.
- Experience in telecom, oil & gas, or K-Companies is preferred.
- NEBOSH IGC and/or IOSH certification is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of Kuwait HSE standards, regulations, and workplace safety practices.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety inspections.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Kuwait Driving License is required.
