Hiring Oil Storage Tank Supervisor in Kuwait

A major industrial mechanical engineering contractor specializing in refinery storage facilities in Ahmadi, Kuwait is hiring a seasoned Tank Supervisor.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise site erection, plate fit-up, welding, and maintenance of API 650/653 crude oil storage tanks.
• Coordinate daily site activities, managing multinational crews of boilermakers, riggers, and welders.
• Ensure adherence to project quality control parameters, weld seam NDT, and hydro-testing procedures.
• Enforce stringent energy sector HSE guidelines, confined space entry permits, and gas testing protocols.
• Liaise with site mechanical engineers and client quality inspectors to review daily construction progress.
• Maintain comprehensive logs of daily manpower utilization, equipment uptime, and milestone deliverables.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven supervisory experience in heavy industrial storage tank construction and repair.
• In-depth knowledge of API 650, API 653, and international mechanical tank engineering standards.
• Strong team leadership, site coordination, and safety management skills.
• Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa (Article 18).
• Immediate availability to mobilize to project sites.
