Hiring Licensed Optometrist & Eyewear Specialist in Kuwait
A premier luxury opticals boutique and vision center located in Kuwait City is recruiting a qualified Optometrist to perform professional eye examinations and optical dispensing.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive refractive eye examinations, visual acuity tests, and evaluate ocular alignment.
- Prescribe corrective ophthalmic lenses, progressive lenses, and fit optical contact lenses accurately.
- Guide customers on designer frame selections, lens coatings (anti-reflective, blue-cut), and lifestyle eyewear.
- Operate automated autorefractors, phoropters, lensmeters, and keratometers with clinical precision.
- Maintain digital patient consultation records and ensure compliance with optical health regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Optometry (B.Optom) or equivalent clinical qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical optometry or retail optical showroom experience.
- Pleasant customer consultation skills and bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Valid transferable Kuwait residence visa.
