Urgent Hiring – Mechanical Material Controller
A company in Fahaheel, Kuwait is looking for an experienced Material Controller – Mechanical to manage the receiving, inspection, storage, tracking, and issuance of mechanical and piping materials.
Candidates with strong experience in piping materials, mechanical works, warehouse coordination, and material documentation are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities- Manage and control mechanical and piping materials throughout the project.
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against delivery documents.
- Check materials for correct specifications and visible damage.
- Coordinate material inspection with engineering and quality teams.
- Ensure materials are properly stored, protected, and organized.
- Maintain accurate records of all received and issued materials.
- Track material movement from receiving to final issuance.
- Prepare material control reports, registers, and documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement teams regarding material requirements and shortages.
- Work closely with site, warehouse, engineering, and construction teams.
- Issue materials to site teams based on approved requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or excess materials.
- Maintain proper material traceability and documentation.
- Support the project team in resolving material-related issues.
- Follow company procedures for material handling and storage.
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in material control.
- Experience in piping and mechanical works is preferred.
- Good knowledge of mechanical and piping materials.
