Hiring GIS Switchgear Assembly Production Engineer in Kuwait

A premier electro-mechanical manufacturing and power systems engineering enterprise in Kuwait is recruiting an experienced Production Engineer specializing in high-voltage and medium-voltage GIS Switchgear assembly.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the end-to-end assembly of 33KV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) panels and Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB).
• Interpret electrical circuit schematics, panel wiring schedules, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and general mechanical arrangement drawings.
• Oversee precise SF6 gas filling, vacuuming, pressure monitoring, and leak tightness verification procedures.
• Enforce rigorous quality control inspections, ISO manufacturing procedures, and high-voltage electrical safety guidelines.
• Utilize AutoCAD to review design modifications and coordinate assembly schedules with testing engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in 33KV GIS Switchgear panel assembly and mechanical integration.
• In-depth technical knowledge of high-voltage testing instruments, VCB mechanisms, and SF6 gas handling.
• Valid transferable Kuwait residency; available for immediate joining.
