Hiring Retail Sales Associate in Kuwait

A premier stationery, art supplies, and craft goods retailer in Kuwait City is urgently seeking a friendly, motivated, and competent Retail Sales Associate to join its showroom team in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet store visitors warmly, assist customers with product recommendations, and explain art and craft material features.
• Process retail sales transactions and payments accurately using the computerized POS point-of-sale system.
• Receive merchandise deliveries against purchase orders (POs), verifying item codes, quantities, and reporting discrepancies.
• Arrange eye-catching creative displays, replenish retail shelves, and maintain pristine store cleanliness.
• Assist store management with periodic stock counts, barcode scanning, and working enthusiastically towards monthly sales targets.
• Provide helpful customer guidance regarding painting supplies, stationery collections, and craft materials.
• Foster a welcoming, inspirational shopping atmosphere for students, hobbyists, and professional artists.

Requirements

• 1-3 Years of experience in retail showrooms, customer service, or boutique retail sales.
• Good communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Genuine passion or interest in stationery, fine art supplies, or creative crafts.
• Reliable, well-organized, energetic, and dedicated team player.
• Available to work retail shifts (6 working days per week with 1 scheduled day off).
• Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
• Immediate availability to commence employment is highly preferred.
